Believers Who Have Died
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord's word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.
My deepest condolences to Bill and his family during this very difficult time. My family and I will be praying for you.

Dear Bill, Kathy, Abby, Will and all who knew and loved Harry: My heart aches for you all. No person can feel your pain but I have been praying for you since we learned of Harry's disappearance and hope you have many to comfort you this day and always. Please let us know if there is anything you need. I wish I had known Harry as he sounds like an incredibly kind and talented young man from what I have heard and read. May the Lord give you courage to live each day with hope that you will see him in the next life. Harry is home.
Dear Bill & Kathy, Abby & Will and Samantha,
It was unbelievable to hear the news that Harry was missing and you and your family and Harry's friends have been in my thoughts and prayers for the past month. It was so heartbreaking what you have been going through -- wondering what happened to Harry. My heart aches that you have had to say goodbye to Harry, and as I write this, it will be today of his funeral. Wish I could have made it down there to give you a hug. Haven't seen you guys in many years, but you have never been forgotten and neither will Harry. I remember such a polite, smart, happy young guy when you lived in Cottage Grove. Caitlin, Kyle and other classmates haven't forgotten Harry, either. Many here were keeping you all in thoughts and prayers and that will continue.
I'm so glad that Harry had the strength of his faith and may that, too, continue to guide you through this journey ahead. God walks with you in that journey and we will uphold you in prayer. ((HUGS))
Natalie Seim, Cottage Grove

Bill, Kathy, Abby and family ~ Please know that many, many of your neighbors have been praying for each of you and for Harry every day of these past few weeks. This is not the outcome I begged God for. Our hearts break for you and with you. We will continue to hold you in our thoughts and prayers, daily. And we will stand by, ready to help you in any way you need. ~ Margaret G. M.
Dear Hempy family,
You have my deepest and most sincere condolences. Will and I were coworkers, and it was always a pleasure to work with him. I think I can speak for the whole office when saying, he will be greatly missed.
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved son. My thoughts are with you, Bill and family.
Kathy, Bill and family,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. It sounds like Harry was an incredible young man.
Bill and Kathy,
We are sorry for the loss of your son. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts. We hope that you can find some peace and solace in the memories of your son.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Dear Bill and Kathy - I am Bill's sister, he and Sonny have kept me informed and I have been praying so hard for all of you during your ordeal. Am so very sorry for the loss of Harry. He sounded like such an intelligent person with so many hobbies and interests and being taken away so young. I know the next few months will be so very hard, but I will keep your family in my thoughts a prayers.
To the Hempy family. I was saddened to hear about the loss of your son. Please know that many prayers were said on behalf of him and your family while he was missing. In the background, a local organization was standing by to walk the tracks between here and Winona and search for him. He's with the Lord now, the month-long turmoil is over, and there's at least a start on closure. You will remain in the prayers of many of your friends here as you deal with the loss.
Bill, I am truly sorry for the loss of your son. I am praying that God will sustain you and your family through this difficult time.
We are friends of Terry and Chuck, and Amber and Josh. We have been praying for Harry and your family. We are so sorry to learn of Harry's tragic death. We trust the deep peace and love of Christ Jesus will sustain you as you grieve. Harry now lives in the divine light of eternity.
Kathy and Bill, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
My family have had the pleasure of knowing Sonny and Bill for 18 years through church. We have been praying so hard for Harry's safe return. We are so sorry for your loss. I know that this will probably be the most difficult thing you will be ever faced with in your life. I highly recommend my friend's book. "Permission to Mourn: A New Way to Do Grief". His name is Tom Zuba, he also has a website. He REALLY understands. He has lost two children and his wife and is now helping others to find a way to live through it.
Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies and condolence for the loss of William. It is saddening that the world has lost such a young, talented man. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Kathy and family, This is just heartbreaking.
My family and I are so sorry. Know that my prayers and thoughts are with you. May God give you strength.
