Condolences

The family of Vahid Amirahmadi has received the following condolences.

It is in great sadness that I offer my sympathy to Vahid's family.  I worked with Vahid in Transfusion Lab.  I loved his dry wit and his dedicated and knowledgeable devotion to his work.  I'm sure it is unimaginable that you must go on without him.  I hope his strenth and courage can help guide you through this loss.

I was so very sorry to hear last night about your loss.  Please accept our condolences.  Although I am unable to attend the funeral because of some pastoral duties, Farhad will be attending this morning.  You are in our prayers. I will be thinking of you and praying for you today; my heart goes out to you.  God bless you!

To the Amirahmadi family,

My deepest condolences and prayers. I had the honor to work with Vahid the past few years. He was very dedicated to his work. At the same time he also showed kindness to the people he worked with. Vahid will be great;y missed.

May he rest in peace with Our Lord and be guided by angels in this journey.

Friends and family of Vahid,

Vahid was a dedicted and thoughtful Laboratorian. We will miss his insights , humor, and knowledge. Rest assured many patients, friends, and family benefitted from his presence and caring. My prayers, thoughts and condolances are with him and his family. I will never forget the wondefulful impression he did as inspector Clusoe from the pink panther movies when we put together our video on the importance quality control. I can still see him moving his magnifying glass back and forth looking into the camera asking " what do you think I will find?". I don't know if I should laugh or cry. May the great powers hold him in their hands as he moves to better place. All of his friends in Transfusion Medicine will never forget him.

My condolences to you and your family in your grief at the loss of your loved one. My thoughts are with you now, and in the days to come.

Dear Fazi and Mahshid,

We are so sorry and sadden to hear the bad news.  Vahid and you were in our thoughts (almost every day) since he came down with his sickness.  It is our wish that God would grant you, his wife and children more patience to deal with such an unbearable loss.

To Vahid's wife and children and brother, Fazi:

I extend to you my deepest sympathy. I worked with Vahid when I was in the Division of Transfusion Medicine and I had great respect for him. He was always focused on the patient in all his Quality management actions and decisions. He cared deeply about always doing the right thing for the patient. Vahid was respectful and pleasant to work with and I could count on him to have a big smile every time I saw him. He never complained about feeling sick. When I would ask him how he was doing, his reply was always positive and optimistic; then he would quickly change the topic to something else. I often thought what a brave man he was.

Vahid was a good man.  He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Sincerely,

Mary Foss, former Operations Manager (now retired)
