Susan Kay Peissig

 

Susan Peissig died on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at St. Marys Hospital.

She was born on October 16, 1946 in Eau Claire, WI. She graduated from Memorial High School in Eau Claire in 1964. On November 16, 1974, she married Arnie Peissig. The couple moved to Rochester in 1987.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She spent a lot of her time in the kitchen, trying new recipes and making sure everyone was well fed. Much of her time was spent at home, where she enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and deer in her backyard. During her lifetime, she made many friends and she loved spending time with them.

Susan is survived by her husband, Arlan Peissig; sons, Troy Brovan and Trever Brovan; four grandchildren, Jake, Jeremy, Ryan, and Kelsey; and one sister, Sally Belden of Eau Claire.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Lester Horntvedt officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
