I would like to express my deepest sympathies to your entire family.  I had the privilege of working with Sue since I came to Mayo in 2002.  She was one of the most friendly, helpful, and reliable people I have ever known.  I have missed her smile since she retired but I am thankful to have known her.

I am so sorry to hear about Sue's passing. She was a wonderful addition to our team in the emergency department. My thoughts are with your family during this difficult time.

Dear Wondrasch Family,

I am so very sorry for your great loss.  I, unfortunately, had very little time to work with Sue in the Emergency Department, but I will forever be grateful to her for hiring me as an MAA.  She was always so good to me in the short time we had together, and I truly admired her faith in God and willingness to share it with others. It was a true blessing.  I hope your hearts will heal in time and pray you will smile when remembering your special memories of Sue. God bless your family always.

Dewey, so sorry for your loss. There are no words that can fill the holes left with the loss of a loved one. We will be praying for you and your family.

Dear Wondrasch Family,

My path crossed with Sue's over my years at Mayo Clinic and she was always such a kind soul.  We rode the shuttle bus together many times to meetings from SMH to Mayo and she always was so friendly and kind.  I'm so sorry to hear about her passing, but know she is with Jesus and loving you from heaven.  God bless you.  Deanna

Dewey and family,

I was heartbroken to learn of Sue's passing, as I'm sure you all must be as well. I worked with Sue for many years in the Emergency Department (and even some time way back in General Internal Medicine downtown) and always enjoyed spending time with her. And who wouldn't? She was always positive and upbeat and a joy to be around. She was a great supervisor as well, as she led by example. I never heard 'no' from Sue. Somehow she was able to work things out and make sure the work got done. And, although she was always busy doing a million things, she always took the time to ask me how my family was doing and, more importantly, how I was doing. I will miss her lovely smile, great sense of humor (well, she would laugh at my jokes), and incredible personality.

Best wishes, with love,

Joe Lobl

My thougts are with all of you.   I regret not being able to be present to memorialize Sue’s rich life due to the darn COVID.    She took care of so many of us.  Surely in normal times her service would be overflowing.

For the first years of my career in the Division of Rheumatology, Sue was my secretary.  She was excellent both professionally and personally.  I was very sad to read of her untimely passing.  My condolences to her husband, family, and friends.

I was so sad to hear of Sue’s passing. She was such a beautiful person and as many remarked about her picture, that is exactly how I will always remember her. Dewey, Scott and Connor I am sorry. May the memories be kept close to your hearts.    Vicki

Our deepest sympathy to the Wondrasch family, mother, sisters and brothers of Sue Wondrasch. Even though we know Sue is in Heaven our hearts are broken and hurt of her leaving us way to soon. Sue loved her family and was overwhelmed for her love for   them 4 grand babies. May God comfort each one of you during this difficult time. All our love Uncle Glenn Irish and wife Wanda.

I'll never forget your beautiful smile back in the day before and back in the days when you lived in Plainview. Your kind, loving, caring and faith you had for God in your life. Everyone who came in contact with you how could they not love you. To all of Susie's family you where so blessed to have her as a Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, and best  of  all are cousin . R.I.P. SUSIE tell we meet again cousin DonnaTlougan. .

Dear Wondrasch family,  I worked with Sue as a medical secretary in Rheumatology from 1979 to 1985.  Just thinking of those years makes me giggle as I can see her in the back cubicle having to deal with some high-energy doctors.  We had an office in which we laughed together and had fun and she was a vital part of that.  As I changed jobs I was glad that our paths continued to cross until her retirement.  As we can all see in this marvelous picture, she was a bright light to everyone she met and I have been blessed by knowing her.  God bless you in your loss.

I was shocked to see that Sue had passed. I worked with Sue at Mayo many years ago. She was the go to person for information and the voice of reason in the many tiny storms that brewed during busy days on clinical floors. The picture the family has posted is how I will always remember her, a smile on her face and that sparkle in her eye. My thoughts and prayers to Dewey and the family.

We are so grateful to have known Sue. We have fond memories from Redeemer, raising kids together, and sharing much laughter. I will not forget her kindness and humility. She has blessed so many. God bless you, Dewey, Scott, Connor, and families. May you be comforted by our loving Heavenly Father at this difficult time. Grant, Kris, Liz & Jon

Sue, I will miss you and I am richer for our conversations over the years in the sub basement of St Mary’s.  You calmed me during my early days at Mayo with your wonderful smile and warm heart and the picture I am looking at  today truly reflects the wonderful human being that you were. Peace my friend. K

Dewey & Family, we are so very sorry to hear about Sue's passing. We are thinking of you and wishing you peace in the days to come.
