Condolences
The family of Stephen E. Sattler has received the following condolences.
There was a special bond between the Woods and the Sattlers for many years. Steve and I attended nursery school, grade school, junior high and high school together. Many of the childhood memories mentioned in the Post Bulletin I also shared. Steve was so proud of that blue soap box car he and Armin built. His talent with music was second to none. I recall our teacher playing a key on the piano and Steve could name it. I fondly remember Steve and I getting the old Ford 8N tractor stuck up to the rear axel out at the "woods". My Dad pulled it out with his Scout ("the Toad") which then got stuck with all 4 wheels spinning. So Armin then pulled the Toad out with the 8N. That same Ford 8N now lives happily on our farm near Rock Dell and is a true work horse for all the farm projects. Last time I saw Steve he visited us on the farm and he sat on that old 8N full of smiles. " Ruhe in Frieden Steve."
