Sharon Marie Olson, age 78, passed away peacefully at her home in LeRoy, Minnesota, on April 6, 2026.

Born on May 30, 1947, in Predmore, Minnesota, Sharon was the daughter of the late Kenneth “Pappy” and Betty Knutson. Sharon will be remembered most for her love of BINGO and her sassy demeanor. She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and could often be found at an Elvis impersonator concert, singing along to her favorite hits. Her hands were rarely still, whether she was tending to her garden, piecing together a complex puzzle, or embarking on fun-filled adventures with her children and grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her two children, Bonnie (Paul) Tendrup and Anthony Olson. Her legacy lives on through her five grandchildren: John (Desirae) Tendrup, Joe (Candi) Tendrup, Jackie (Rob) Tendrup, Jada Tendrup, and Zachary Roles; as well as her nine great-grandchildren: Madysen, Memphys, Monty, Mitchyl, Izabel, Fay, Iliza, RJ, and Boe. She also leaves behind her siblings: Donna Tilford, Carol (Bob) Christopherson, Joyce Heinlein, Marilyn Knutson, Robert (Kelley) Knutson, and Wanda Knutson.

Sharon was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Robert Olson; her parents, Kenneth and Betty Knutson; and her siblings, Donald Knutson, Allen “Yank” Knutson, and Cynthia Knutson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Marion Road Christian Church in Rochester, MN. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the service at 2:00 PM. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow the service at the church.
