Ronald E. Hoffman

The funeral for Ronald Evan Hoffman will be on Monday,  February 29, 2016 at 11:00 am in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, MN with Pastor Maurice E. Hagen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before service. Burial will be in Lands Lutheran Cemetery in Zumbrota, MN.

Ron 76 passed away peacefully on Feb 25th, at St Marys in Rochester.

He was born July 16th, 1939 in Carroll, IA to Leonard and Virginia Hoffman. He graduated from Grand Meadow High School.

Ron worked road construction and later was co-owner of Rochester Car Wash.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing trips to Canada, he loved going to auctions, and fall trips to Branson, Mo.

Ron was married to Marcia Lexvold on April 15th ,1972.

He is survived by his wife Marcia, a daughter Toya Hoffman of Perry,IA, sons Troy Hoffman of Rochester, Lance (Jane) Hoffman of Stewartville, his mother Virginia Hoffman of Grand Meadow, sisters Deanna (Carlton) Burns of Stewartville, Barbara Hoffman of Janeville,WI, Pat (Harold) Ostby Dexter MN, brothers Robert (Val) Hoffman of Janesville, WI, Bruce (Ellie) Hoffman of Racine, MN.

Seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by daughter Sherry Lynne Hoffman, son Lawrence Hoffman, and father Leonard Hoffman.
