Condolences

The family of Robert A. Roberge has received the following condolences.

I am so sorry for the loss of such a special man.  I worked with Bob at Charter Communications for 7 years before he retired.  He was always such a nice man.  The word that keeps coming to mind for me to describe him was pleasant.  He wasn't the life of the party, the jokester, or the know-it-all.  He was always, well, pleasant.  Nice to talk to and nice to work with.  He was one of those people who gets along with everyone and is just a genuinely nice person.

How fortunate we were to have known him.

I am so sorry I couldn't make to Bob's funeral.  He was my first friend when we moved to Melody Manor in 1961.  We did a lot of things together from Scouts to sports to school activities to neighborhood events.  He had his mom's great laugh and his dad's smile and wit.  It's sad he went so young.

So very sorry for your loss.

My heartfelt condolences to Bob's family and friends. I knew Bob from school and have fond memories of a kind and gentle young man. May fond memories support you as you grieve this loss.

I worked with Robert (Bob) at Charter Communications in Charter Business.  Robert was a gentleman, he was kind and gracious, he never complained; always cheerful with a smile on his face. Robert was very proud of his family; especially his son John.  Bob's face would light up when speaking about his son, how well he was doing at school or in activities.  Bob set an excellent example for the rest of us to follow; never complain, always smile, share a good word with others,  take your time and do a job well, don't be afraid to learn something new, treat everyone with love and respect, lend a helping hand when needed, love your family and live peacefully.  I have missed seeing Robert when he was no longer able to work at Charter.

Know my thoughts and prayers are with you now as you travel a new path. Robert will live on in our memories of a man who taught us how to live, leading us by his examples.

May you find Peace with Faith, Fanily and Friends at this time.

Sincerely ,

Ginger LaVan
