Reuben Fredrick “Ted” Fenske

Reuben Fredrick “Ted” Fenske, age 92, of Rochester, MN, died Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Ted was born December 20, 1928, in Winona, MN, the son of Paul and Emma (Schmidt) Fenske. Ted honorably served his country in the US Navy fom 1945 -1947. He was united in marriage to Shirley Squires in 1951 in Winona. Ted worked as a technician for IBM in Rochester, MN for 27 years.

He is survived by his children: Sandy (Brad) Wetzel of Northfield, MN, and Dan Fenske of Winona, MN; grandchildren: Candice (Steve) Volkert, Tom Neuman, and Tim (Jenny) Neuman; great-grandchildren, Jackson Volkert, Trevor Volkert, Claire Neuman, Josie Neuman, Brooke Neuman; brother, Ralph Fenske of Winona, MN; and son-in-law, Andy Neuman.

Ted is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Debra Neuman; granddaughter, Jillian; 5 sisters, and 6 brothers.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 at 2:00PM in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

My condolences to Ted's family.  I was Ted's manager at IBM. I honestly can say Ted was one of the nicest person I have ever met.  He was fun to work with, and always a good worker, and a real gentlemen.  I pray God takes good care of Ted.
