Phyllis Louise Crowley
Phyllis Louise (King) Crowley, 84, of Rochester, MN, passed Saturday, January 23, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by her children.
Phyllis was born on May 3, 1936 in Spring Valley, MN to Floyd and Lucille (Fimon) King. She graduated from Stewartville High School in the spring of 1954 and married the love of her life, Dale James Crowley, on November 27, 1954 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Rochester, MN. Phyllis was a loving mother raising six children. She returned to work as a Business Administrator for the Mayo Clinic and retired after 20 years of service.
Phyllis loved crafts, such as knitting and cross stitch, loved to read and do word puzzles. Many of her grandchildren and great grandchildren received baptismal gowns and sweaters, made especially for them. She loved her family and cherished her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Marla) Crowley, Peggy (Cliff) Knoll, Theresa (James) Grant, Scott (Cheryl) Crowley, Kathy (Greg) Berger and Gregory (Suzan) Crowley, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband Dale, Father and Mother Floyd and Lucille King, Sister Marion Winter, Brother Butch King and Sister Charlene Sobek.
Her Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, January 29, 2021 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rochester, MN. There will be a one-hour visitation prior to the service at the church. For those who are unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed on the St. Pius X Catholic Church YouTube Channel.
