Patricia “Pat” Jack

It is with great sorrow to share the news that our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Patricia Jack, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 17, 2025.

She was born on March 24,1953 in Rochester, MN, to Eugene and Mary Ann (Caflisch) Jack. Pat was a 1971 graduate of Chosen Valley High School, Chatfield, MN. She had a long career at Mayo Clinic working in the Information Technology department.

Pat leaves a wonderful legacy in her family, friends, and those whose hearts she touched. Pat will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, her witty sense of humor, her kind and giving heart, and her love for gardening, especially beautiful florals, a joy and passion she shared with her own mother.

Pat is survived by her two daughters: Karen (Jeff) Wesselmann of New Ulm, MN, Whitney Jack, (Bobby Watson) of Rochester, MN, her grandson Riley and great-grandson Greyson, brother David Patrick Jack, Monument, CO, and her nephews Bryan (Jennifer) Jack, Adam Jack, and Jared Jack along with many other beloved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Mary Ann Jack, and three siblings Dennis, Linda, and Karen.

Pat’s Celebration of Life will be held in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester on Monday March 24, 2025. Yes, on her birthday. She was really looking forward to the plans we had with her this year, and it just so turns out this might be her biggest birthday celebration yet. The service will begin at 11:00AM. Visitation will be held starting one hour prior to the service (10:00AM) with a luncheon planned immediately following the service. Her remains will be interred in St. Bridget Cemetery, Simpson, MN.

In memory of Pat, as the spring draws near, plant a floral garden, build a birdhouse, or plant a tree in her memory, and feel free to share these beautiful things with family to aid in keeping her memory alive.

Condolences

The family of Patricia “Pat” Jack has received the following condolences.

Whitney,

I am so sorry for your loss. I never got to meet your mom until about a week before she passed. I’m so glad I did. It was so nice to meet her and share some great conversation with her at the store. What a delightful and kind lady she was. Know that I’m thinking of you and her on this birthday “celebration” of her life. I feel lucky that I got to meet her. Bless you and your family.

Whitney, our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and the family. Know that you are in our thoughts and we’re certain your strength will carry you through this difficult time. May your Mom now enjoy God’s embrace and may God bless you with comfort and peace. Hugs
