To the Family of Nick Hedberg.

I am saddened by Nick's passing. He has recently suffered greatly with COPD which he coped with courageously and with acceptance.

I was acquainted with Nick for almost 50 years.

Nick's combined sardonic humor and quick-wittedness was a source of joy in my interactions with him.

I will miss him.

Carole,

I am so sorry to hear the passing of your special friend.  I know he will be missed very much.  Thinking of you during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Stacy Weelborg

I had the pleasure of working with Nick at IBM and enjoyed his friendship during that time.

Nick and my father, Larry Kirkland, were long time friends and I have very fond childhood memories of our families spending time together, just two divorced dads and their kids trying to make their way through the 70's and 80's. I remember most of all Nick's wry sense of humor, which he very much shared with my dad. They had a lot of laughs together. I think of him as an uncommonly good guy. My sincere condolences to Tony and John and the rest of Nick's loved ones.

Nick was a great guy and will truly be missed, He raised two great men Tony and John who are left to carry on his legacy.
