Nadine June Lynch

Nadine June Lynch, 92, went to be with the Lord on June 29th, 2019. She resided at Cottagewood Senior Communities.

Nadine was born in Nevada, IA on June 16, 1927 to Adolf and Alta (Fink) Turner. She attended a rural school, Leroy Public School, and Mankato State University. She earned a degree in teaching and became a schoolteacher at a little white schoolhouse near Leroy, MN for the surrounding farming community.

Nadine met Ralph Lynch after he returned from serving in the Army during WWII. They married on June 16, 1947. They moved to Rochester, MN soon after their marriage. Together they had ten children: Larry, Tom, Mike (Jennie), Dave (Mary) Jon, Teresa (Fenske), Colleen (Rueb) Kevin, Tim and Joe.

Nadine was a stay at home mom until their youngest, Joe, started school. Nadine worked at Broadway Café before starting at Methodist Hospital as a cook. She retired from Methodist Hospital after twenty-one years of service.

She had an unlimited amount of compassion, understanding, and love for her family. Nadine taught her children the lessons of respect, hard work, and most importantly, that family always comes first. She enjoyed spending time with her ten children, 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

Nadine is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lynch; her sons, Larry Lynch, and Tim Lynch; two grandchildren, Tara Lynch and Kristin Langenfeld; and great-granddaughter, Aubree Fenske.

She is survived by step-siblings, Arlus Schroeder, Juanita Dippert, and Stephen Turner.

Funeral Mass for Nadine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Rev. Jim Berning officiating.
