Millie had the ability to always make you feel welcome. She made the best chocolate chip cookies and always had the backup coffee cans of cookies in the freezer. I can't even imagine how many dozens of cookies she made!

She was very special and I am sorry for your loss!

Millie was a wonderful lady and I will miss her.  When I first left home, I would stop by and we would visit and drink coffee together.  This is one of my best memories. My thoughts are with all of you!  I regret missing her memorial service as we are on vacation but I know the day will not pass without thinking of her often.  Many hugs your way!

We went to nursing home and told Lester about Millie last night.  He is so hard of hearing and is forgetful who people are so he wanted to just throw a kiss towards heaven as Millie will catch it there.  He was saddened that she had passed, but knows that they are all getting older.  It is hard to be oldest (he is 90 now) as everyone has passed and he said it should not be in this order.  He is sending you his love and will be thinking of you during this difficult time.

Love,

Lester
