Mildred E. Weaver

Mildred E. Weaver, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed
away on Friday, January 21, 2011, at Grace Pointe Crossing East Gables in Cambridge, MN.

She was 89, born January 14, 1922 in Mellen, Wisconsin to Felix and Ellen Baker.  In 1942 she married Claude F. Weaver in Mellen, Wisconsin.

Mildred moved from Mellen, WI to Rochester, MN in 1946. In July 2006 she moved to Cambridge, MN.

She worked on the assembly line for Telex and retired in 1983.

Survivors include one son, Lawrence of Cambridge, MN, two brothers, Dale (Rose) Baker of Glidden, WI and Ethan (Jan) Erdman of Spring Green, WI, and one sister, Ellen (Dick) Stout of San Jose, CA.  She is also survived by two grandchildren: Christopher (Katie) Weaver of North branch, MN, and Jeremiah Weaver of Hopkins, MN. And also by six great grandchildren: Ethan, Kadin, India, Kalie, Ezra and Benjamin.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband who passed away in 1977, a daughter, as well as one brother and one sister.

Mildred was an avid reader who also loved to play cards.

The funeral service for Mildred Weaver will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Christ Lutheran Church in Rochester with the Rev. Scott Schilbe officiating.  Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
