Condolences

The family of Mary “Rita” Lewis has received the following condolences.

To the entire Lewis family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your Mother truly was a wonderful woman. I have very fond memories of visiting your home on first avenue S.E. Although the years have passed and we have drifted away I still remember how kind your Mother was to me . One memory I could share with you is an example of her act of kindness and compassion. In the dead of winter maybe  it was January or February with below zero temperature. I was about 10 or 11 playing hockey in the backyard  ice rink the your father had made  hanging out with Matt and Andrew. I was leaving your home and your Mother sent me home with some oyster crackers to nibble on for my journey home just two blocks away. She had called my mother letting her know I was just leaving.

Please be assured to all of you whether you have faith in heaven or not I assure you there is a place called heaven and your mother Mary "Rita" is there she has no pain, no anxiety and will be watching over all of you along with your dad Richard" Mr. Lewis".until you meet again rest in peace Mrs. Lewis.

Kind regards,

Kevin Furr
