Mary Bridget “B” Lawler, age 88 of Rochester, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Golden Living West.
Mary Bridget Healy was born to Frank and Margaret (Keefe) Healy on February 12, 1927, on the family farm in rural Eyota, MN. She graduated from Eyota High School in 1943 and from Minnesota School of Business in 1944. She worked for Rochester Plumbing and Heating and for People’s Cooperative Power as their Computer Programmer, retiring in June of 1993. On May 28th 1949, she married Thomas J. Lawler at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Eyota, MN. The couple met while Tom was a customer of Rochester Plumbing and Heating. Together they had eight children, eighteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was a member of the St. Pius CCW, Saint Marys Auxiliary, and The Rural Robbins of Eyota with many of her good friends. Her favorite pastime was watching her grandchildren grow and being a fan of the Minnesota Twins. She was a wonderful cook and baker for her children and grandchildren and loved when family or friends stopped by to visit. Mom had a warm and generous heart, and everyone around her felt loved and welcomed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tom (2012), a son Terry Joseph, a granddaughter Bridget Therese, and her brother Francis and sister-in-law Sue Healy.
She is survived by her children Thomas (Joyce) Lawler of Thornton, CO, F. Matthew (Terri) Lawler of Rochester, James (Tami) Lawler of Rochester, Mary Kay (Steve) O’Neill of Schaumburg, IL, Kevin (Barbara Jo) Lawler of St. Paul, MN, Ann Marie (Todd) Young of St. Paul, MN, Theresa Lawler Downes of Eagan, MN, seventeen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.

Annie,
My deepest condolences to you and your family at this time. While those that remain behind are deeply saddened by the passing of a loved one, it is also a time to rejoice in knowing she is with the Father and those that passed before her. Celebrate the memories of your mother and smile! Watch for the cardinal outside your window. All is well!
Thinking of you all today. Was thinking back when I was younger visiting the greatest cousins on the planet, I thought my dad (Francis) could whip up eggs and bacon, Aunt B. put him to shame. She made the world's best bacon. Great times and great memories. The Healy and Hodgson crew.
To my Lawler cousins - Thinking of you all today. Aunt Mary B was such a gentle woman with a beautiful, soft presence. I always felt "calmness" around her. She is with Uncle Tom again.
Take care

I remember your Mom as always having a smile on her face. I am sure that she has that smile on her face when she again is with your Dad. It is never easy when it does happen, but she is with the BIG GUY, and her smile is making heaven a little brighter.
