Mary Ann Fredricksen

Mary Ann Fredricksen (Meyers), 92, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Rehoboth Elderly Care in Oronoco.

Mary was born on March 23, 1925 to Frank and Rose (Kynzl) Roller. She graduated from Lourdes High School in 1943 and was married to Roy Fredricksen on January 31, 1946. The couple farmed in Rock Dell Township and moved to Eyota, where they farmed until 1970. They then moved to a home in Marion Township, Rochester. Roy passed away on September 1, 1987.

On July 24, 1997, she married Ray Meyers. Ray passed away on January 28, 2011. Mary then moved to Rehoboth Adult and Elderly Care in Oronoco in November 2014.

Mary is survived by two sons, David (Mary) Fredricksen of Rochester and Jerol Fredricksen of Stewartville; two grandsons, James (Rachelle) Fredricksen of Rochester, Brian Fredricksen of Shoreview, MN; two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Drew Fredricksen of Rochester.

Along with her husbands, Mary was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn; one grandson, Michael; three brothers and one sister.

Her greatest love was gardening, her flowers, plants, and beloved cats.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 11 at 11:00AM at Resurrection Catholic Church with Rev. Peter Schuster. Friends may call an hour in advance to the service at the church. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
