Russ and family,

I am so shocked to hear of Marlys's passing. She was always such a joy to be around! She had a ready laugh and a bit of an impish spirit I think. I was privileged to sit in front of her in the church choir. Many Sunday mornings have been spent sharing the joy of singing beautiful music together. I will miss her.

We are so sorry we will not be able to attend services as we will be in Kansas with our children and grandchildren. I will especially miss Marlys, her cheery attitude towards life and her beautiful voice sitting next to me in choir. Marlys was my choir buddy and I will miss her greatly. The world was a better place with Marlys Shores.

My fondest memories of Marlys were at the GI pig roasts at Gostout’s house. We had so much fun. I will miss her infectious laugh. Laser Sisters forever ?

Marlys will be missed by her family. What a delightful and enthusiastic lady Marlys was. I worked with Marlys in Gi diagnostics. A great nurse that cared; and liked to have fun while she worked, cared about patients, coworkers and medical team.  So sorry Shores family for your great loss.  Amy
