Margaret Mary “Marge” Fague
Margaret Mary “Marge” Fague (Scheibelhut), 84, of Rochester, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Olmsted Medical Center Hospital.
Marge was born on January 27, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Anthony and Catherine “Hazel” Scheibelhut. After graduating from Laboure High School in 1958, she married the love of her life, Timothy L. Fague, on March 17, 1962, at St. Louise de Marillac Church in Jennings, Missouri. In March of 1977, the couple made Rochester, Minnesota, their home when Tim was transferred by IBM.
Marge had a remarkable gift for connecting with people. She embraced everyone with open arms and a non-judgmental spirit, always ready to share a laugh over a board game or a lively round of cards. Her greatest joy and pride were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she loved sharing stories about their lives.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Tim Fague; her children, Lisa (Russ “Todd”) Stierlen, Jeffrey (Linnea Archer) Fague, Carrie (Craig) Havlicek, and Barb (Frank) Sherrick; her 13 cherished grandchildren; and her 7 beloved great-grandchildren. Marge was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tom Scheibelhut.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Church of the Resurrection. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM, and visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. Marge will be interred at a later date at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, Minnesota.

I'm truly heartbroken to hear of Mrs. Fague's passing. It's been well over 50 years years since we were neighbors, but Mrs. Fagues kindness made an everlasting impression. She mothered all of the neighborhood children. Always making sure we were well cared for.
My heart aches for the entire family. I'll be keeping you in my prayers during this difficult time.
