Lyle E. Paulson

Lyle E. Paulson, 80, of West Concord, MN passed away June 27, 2024 at his farm surrounded by family.

He was born February 2, 1944 in Byron, MN to Elmer and Alice (Blanchard) Paulson. At an early age, Lyle started his life of farming and continued throughout his life.

Lyle raised three daughters, who were his whole world. The girls worked alongside their father for years learning the importance of having a strong work ethic.

In May of 1991, he married Maria, fondly called Cori. Theirs was a “love affair to remember.” They traveled back to the Philippines several times and to many other states and countries.

In addition to farming, Lyle enjoyed going to machinery auctions to buy and sell equipment, always finding a way to make a couple extra bucks. He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Lyle absolutely loved being a grandpa and great-grandpa. He delighted in taking them out for suppers, going fishing, and watching them grow up.

He had a great sense of humor, and he could talk to anyone, often making friends wherever he went.

Lyle is survived by wife Cori, daughters Lynn (Steve), Kari (Jim); grandkids Ashlee, Kymber and Wyatt; great-grandkids Laycee, Amelia, Alexa, and Sawyer; brothers Haven, Delmer (Joanne), and David (Lois), sisters Delores and Patti. He was greeted in Heaven with open arms by his parents, daughter Lonna, grandson Cody and numerous crops waiting to be harvested with his John Deere tractors.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

The family would like to thank the many people, family, kind neighbors and special friends who reached out, stayed by their side, and helped them during the past few months.
