Tom Salinas and family

So sorry for your loss. I hope you’ll find the strength to endure this time and comfort in each other. One Love!!!

I am glad I had the opportunity to get to know Lumono in our “Introduction to Sociology” course at Winona State University this past spring. He was a keen observer of the world around him, and I enjoyed having him in the course. I am so sorry I will not be able to work with him more. My thought are with his friends and family.

Professor Craig Upright
Department of Sociology
Winona State University

Although I did not know Lumono personally, our Winona State University community all grieves when a student is lost to a family.  We send our warmest thoughts and most sincere sympathies in your time of sorrow.

Lumono is the most loving person I have met to date. He welcomed me and my friends in as if we had known each other for years. I had the privilege of meeting him at Winona State and was in awe by his ability treat others with kindness no matter where they came form. He was truly a gentle soul and will be greatly missed.

Lumono was a gentleman of high character and he was a pleasure to teach. He worked hard and was always respectful. My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family with this great loss.
