Condolences
The family of Lonnie J. Jostock has received the following condolences.
Thinking today of Lonnie and a brief moment in time our work family at a sub shop in 1992 included Lonnie's joyful and endearing presence. Silly and goofy ruled any shift we were on together and it was hard to call it work. Seeing his obituary in the Post Bulletin was heartbreaking. May his family know how highly Lonnie is thought of by so many through the years and you are in our hearts and thoughts today as you say goodbye. Blessed be his memory.
Lonnie will be remembered by many of us that worked with him at the Holiday Inn South.
He was always willing to pitch in wherever he was needed and made laughter a part of every shift.
I have such fond memories of Lonnie.
Growing up on 34th Street as a neighbor of Lonnie, there was always something going on. New band, new album, arcade adventures, video game high score challenges, and just hanging out that teenagers do.
Lonnie was a neighbor that was also a part of our family life.
A fun memory is when he would show up an hour before the walk to school to play the new Atari game I just got. And mom, eventually just unlocked the door in the morning.
So many fun memories. I will make a donation to the mental health link provided here.

I am so sorry and saddened to hear of Lonnie's passing! My time with him was brief, but he made a lasting and beautiful impression. I worked with him long ago at a short lived sandwich shop in SE Rochester. Lonnie was a delivery driver, and we were all pretty young and excited about life. It might have been a first job for many of the crew, and it was quite an adventure. Lonnie was always silly, genuine, kind and quirky--very lovable. He was quick to laugh with you, and could make us laugh easily and often. I have thought of him fondly over the years and can picture him in my head exactly, hear his voice and see his big smile...I won't ever forget him. What a loss, my heart goes out to all who loved him.
