Condolences

The family of Lester “Les” Neeb has received the following condolences.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Neeb's passing. He was certainly one of my favorite teachers from Kellogg and John Marshall. Lucky me to have known him. Condolences to the Neeb family and friends.

To Mr.Neeb's family,

Mr. Neeb was my all time favorite teacher at JM. He knew how to connect with students with his humor and kindness. Even though I was frequently  late to his class and had to complete my consequence right then and there, (I had to dance like an Egyptian to the same named song) I wanted to strive to be a better student because I respected him so much.  I've thought about him many times during my 30 year teaching career and hope to connect with my kiddos like Mr. Neeb did.

Thoughts and prayers to you all ~

So sorry Sally and family for your loss of Les.   Terry has stories about the rink time (as a Kid) and Lester being there too.  I really don't know what else to say, but I'm also speaking on behalf of Mom if she were here.   You two shared some good times together.  I will keep you and family in my thoughts and praying for a sense of peace and hopefulness.

Sincerely,

Leah and Terry Just

My heartfelt prayers are with you and the family… May his spirit soar with the grace of God.

Les was more than a good friend to me when I first began my tentative career at John Marshall. He shared his room with me for two semesters while I taught the then unknown subject of ESL.  He encouraged me to develop curriculum for these students, and later he volunteered to teach history to these same students.  They Loved him! We also regularly ate with his "cronies" and mine in the less than inviting faculty lunch room in the basement next to the boiler room at JM. It was a particularly hilarious time most days.  He was a good and caring teacher as well as a good and caring friend.  My condolences to his family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you! Mr. Neeb was one of my most favorite teachers at Kellogg and John Marshall! He always comes to mind when I think of my school days!  Rest In Peace Mr. Neeb!

So sorry to hear that Les passed.  Prayers being sent

My condolences to Les’ family. I knew Les through hockey. I played at Lourdes but knew him through countless hours at the rinks and my family’s friendship with Gene Sack. Les was always a kind and fun-loving person around the high school players, and I’m sure others in his life. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest friends,  my heart is with you as you mourn the loss of your husband,  father and grandfather.   I wish I could be there to support you.  My prayers for healing continue.   God bless you all.

What a lovely man Les was!  My sincerest condolences to Sally and the kids as well as many thanks for all you’ve done for him over the years.  I remember fondly our old hockey days both at Silver Lake and Mankato State.  Rest In Peace Les.

Sally, so sorry to hear about his passing. You and your family are in my prayers.
