Allen and Mary

Greetings to Leona's family.  Sending our condolences to all of you, especially Sharma and Al, Glenn who we know best.  Your mother was a sweet lady.  I remember her as one of our auxiliary ladies, always there with a helping hand and a sharp bridge player.  She played with our ladies group quite a few years.  She is one of our pleasant Plainview memories.

Norma and Bud

So sad to hear about Aunt Leona's passing.  May she rest in peace.

Sending prayers and condolences to the family.

I was saddened to hear of the death of your mother, Leona.  I recall the friendship she and my mother, Verna Baum, shared during their years working in the kitchen at the Plainview Nursing Home and how the friendship continued after they retired.  They shared fun times.

Enjoy the memories of your mother.

Our prayers and thoughts are with the families at this time of loss. God Bless.

To the family of Leona G. Bowen in the loss of your special loved one.

Dear family of Leona Bowen,

I am so sorry to hear about your mom, grandmother and great grandmother. I am thinking of you as I reflect on what a great person Leona is. Please accept my condolences.

Leona was a very special person in my life. Every year for as far back as I can remember, until she was about 90, I would get a personally written letter on my birthday. If only I had the foresight to have kept all those letters and notes. I always enjoyed seeing and visiting with her over the many years that I knew her.

We hope to be in Plainview on Saturday to visit with you.

My thoughts are with all of you at this sad time.
