Thanks for live streaming. Beautiful service.
Thanks for live streaming. Beautiful service.
We have many marvelous memories of our Uncle Leo Haubenschild.
We continue to celebrate his life as he enjoys Heaven's 19th hole with Family and Friends!
Uncle Leo was enthusiastically passionate about helping create, edit, and share the Haubenschild/Hobenshield Family Tree Book. He always kept a marked-up latest version of the Family Tree to keep track of all the changes. Then update Gordon and anyone else who may ask a genealogy question or even happen to mention family tree.
Uncle Leo loved and embraced the Haubenschild family tree booklet dedication "WE ARE FAMILY" page;
"Dedicated to the members of my family who went before, are now here, and are yet to come."
"I saw behind me those who had gone, and before me, those who are to come.
I looked back and saw my father, and his father, and all our fathers,
and in front, to see my son/daughter and his son/daughter, and the sons/daughters beyond.
And their eyes were my eyes.
As I felt, so they had felt, and were to feel, as then, so now, as tomorrow
and for ever. Then I was not afraid, for I was in a long line that had no
beginning, and no end, and the hand of his father grasped my father's
hand, and his hand was in mine, and my unborn son/daughter took my father's
hand, and all, up and down the line that stretched from Time That Was,
to Time That Is, and Is Not Yet, raised their hands to show the link, and we found that we were one,..."

Uncle Leo inspired us, encouraged us, entertained us, and was a perfect role model to show how to live life to the fullest!
Uncle Leo is forever a treasured gift to us and many!
Hope and Love,
Gordon and Jan Haubenschild
Laurie and Julie and families
Joe and I were blessed to have many memorable visits with Leo. Usually we found ourselves discussing the current season of the Vikings, the Wild or the Twins. Always fun to bond over sports. Leo was always so kind and caring, even when he found out I, (Lynn) was married to a Cowboys fan! (Joe). Forever in our hearts Uncle Leo. SKOL!
Sending our love, Lynn and Joe Poole
Laurie, You have my deepest sympathy. Your parents were always so kind to Dale and I at church when we started many years ago.
You are a true reflection of their sweetness. Hugs to you and your family.
Julie, Laurie, Guy and families,
My mom, Bev, is now in an assisted living facility. She was very sad to hear that Leo has passed away. My folks, Bev and Wayne Nagel, enjoyed many outings with your parents over the years. She was reminiscing this morning about some of their fun times. I told her I would send a message of sympathy to the family from her. She is unable to attend the service for Leo. This message is also from me, Cheryl Nagel Fauver (daughter) to all of you as I always enjoyed your parents whenever I saw them. They were good friends to my folks and always to our family.
In sympathy and friendship,
Bev Nagel
