Lavonne “Bonnie” Tottingham

Lavonne “Bonnie” Tottingham, age 82 of Rochester passed away on January 14, 2014 at Samaritan Bethany Home on Eighth.

Lavonne Fenske was born on October 11, 1931 near Rochester to Oscar and Bernice (Connaughty) Fenske. She attended school in Dover, MN and later attended Secretarial School in Winona, MN. She married Howard Tottingham on September 11, 1951. The couple made their homes between California and Minnesota, finally settling in the Dover/Eyota area. Lavonne worked part time at various jobs while her children were young, and retired from Custom Printing of Rochester after twenty-nine years of service. Bonnie was an avid cat lover.

She is survived by her husband Howard of over 62 years, her seven children, Roger (Linda) Tottingham and Bonnie (Jim) Hockens both of Oronoco, Jerry Tottingham of the Twin Cities, Jim Tottingham of Arizona, Don “KC” (Sandy) Tottingham of Elgin, Howard Jr. (Kim) Tottingham of Kasson/Mantorville, Bob (Deb) Tottingham of Colorado, a brother Donald (Marcy) Fenske of St. Charles, her sister-in-law Joyce Tottingham of Rochester, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson and a brother-in-law.

A funeral service for Lavonne “Bonnie” will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11:00AM at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery of Rochester.
