Larry Tyrone Mauseth
Larry Tyrone Mauseth passed away on Friday, the 6th of June, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 11th in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, followed by an 11:00 am service led by Pastor Lester J. Horntvedt. Following the burial at Oakwood Cemetery, a reception will be held at the Rochester Eagle’s Club, beginning at 1:30pm.
Larry was born on January 31st, 1945, in Minot, ND and was adopted by parents Ella and Raymond Mauseth. He married his wife Edna “Betty” Heile on July 18th, 1962. The couple moved to Rochester in 1970, where Larry worked at the Kahler Grand Hotel for 45 years.
Larry and Betty have two sons, Lanny and Michael, and six grandchildren, Joseph, Daniel, Matthew, Katie, Zack, and Carly Mauseth. He is also survived by a great-grandson, Luke Ellringer, and his sister, Deloras Cossette of Fargo, ND, half-sister Sandra Woods of Palm Desert, CA and half-brother Jerry Don Marthe of Lauton, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, and half-sisters Linda Brown and Arlene Marthe.
Larry loved his 1959 Chevrolet Impala and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

To the Mauseth family ... So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. Mark and I both worked with Larry at the Kahler and had many great conversations with him over the years. He will be missed. Take care and celebrate his life through the heartfelt memories that will keep him close to you forever.
I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Larry at the Kahler. He was just great, and could always get what I needed for the Penthouse. A very nice man.
