Condolences

The family of Larry D. Oefstedahl has received the following condolences.

My Mother took me for a haircut a long time ago - I only remember two guys - and that their names rhymed. As I grow up - Mom would take me for a cut - either one of them would cut my hair - I believe they had a small competition  between them - on who could “nick” my ear… the most…. Of course it was just a barber trick…. But I sure looked forward to going to their place each time I needed a cut. It was always a fun experience.

Later in life I would run into Larry and he always had time to talk to me and I always loved his laugh!!

My condolences to you all - Larry was one of the people I looked up to as I grew up and for this - I appreciated him!

Prayers to you all during this time of loss.

Barb, Vicki & Laurie I am so sorry for your loss, all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Lots of great memories living next door to the Oefstedahl's until you moved to Oak Park. Larry was my barber from when I was 6 years old till the day he retired, lots of great memories at the Barber's Hut, Larry & Jerry were the best. I am so glad that I stopped in to see Larry and Barb this summer for a visit as I had not seen them in quite a few years. Until we meet again RIP Larry you will be missed.

Our deepest sympathy to all the Oefstedahl family on the death of Larry. We remember the good times we had in Apache Junction, Arizona.

Larry was my barber for over 40 years. I stumbled into Broadwater’s shop by chance when I was in high school and Larry cut my hair until he retired.

He and Jerry were quite the team. I enjoyed the stories, the jokes and the banter between the two of them.

My condolences to the family. He will be missed.

Also growing up in Oak Park and always admiring how you on how you kept your home and yours cars! You will be missed and I hope your family knows what a great person you were. RIP Larry!

My heartfelt condolences to Barb, Vicki, Laurie and the entire family! Larry was a kind and caring man with a heart of gold. He was an impeccable man with an infectious laugh.
