Kori Jo Jendersee

Kori Jo Jendersee died on October 13, 2020.

She was born on December 25, 1969 to Harvard and Peggy in Rochester.

Kori loved giving and doing for others. She worked for many years as a Para Professional in the Rochester School System helping troubled kids and most recently she worked at a Crisis Center giving her love and attention to people who needed it the most. And of course, Kori made countless friends while tending bar at Shar’s Country Palace.

Kori loved to travel and did so at every chance she could. If there was an opportunity to be involved in any sort of an event she was there. If there was a problem or situation she was sure to make her opinion known. She cooked, canned, planted, fished, hunted, painted, talked a lot, and loved riding the Harley.

Kori Jo, our little Christmas Baby, has traveled to heaven to meet Jesus and have eternal life. She is probably planning one heck of a birthday party too!

Kori Jo tested life to the limit and she loved and was loved by so many.

She is survived by life partner, Randy Pandora; her dad, Harvard Jendersee; son, Kain Janzen; along with his wife, Christine of California; son, Josiah Nyberg of Rochester; sisters, Kellie (Mike) Strobel of Lindstrom and Kammi Books of Rochester; brothers, KC Jendersee of Rochester and Kyle Jendersee of Florida; and many nieces; nephews; and little Victoria, who called her Momma Kori. Also surviving is her big beautiful white rescue dog, Myla.

Kori was preceded in death by her mom, Peggy and her baby daughter, Kara Jo.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester, MN, with Rev. Anjanette Bandel officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.

Not, how did Kori die, but how did Kori live?
Not, what did Kori gain, but what did Kori give?
These are the units to measure the worth
of a woman as a woman, regardless of her birth.
Nor what was Kori’s church, nor what was Kori’s creed?
But had Kori befriended those really in need?
Was Kori ever ready, with words of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when Kori passed away?

Kian and Josiah

God bless you and give you peace, in this time of your mothers’ loss.

I did not know Kori Jo. But I learned much about her talking to her friend Lorelle Neu. My heart goes out to you. She was obviously a very special woman, one who positively touched and influenced all of the lives around her. Gone too soon as is always the case for someone so so young, that burned so very bright. I wish I had had the opportunity and honor to have met her in person.

Our thoughts and prayers to all of you as you cope with Kori’s loss. We will cherish the memories we have from the many years in Oak Park growing up together! Sending each of you a hug from the entire Aarhus family

Jendersee family,

Kori made such a  difference in people's lives here at CHS.   So many kids who did not get the attention or love needed got it from Kori.  I know of few people in this world who had her patience and understanding. She was never flustered even when working with some of the most challenging personalities.   She was such a kind soul.   I have truly missed her in our building but was so happy she was able to pursue her own happiness.   I along with all who knew her share your grief.   Please know you are in all our thoughts and prayers.

Kori was and still is a beautiful soul. She loved with all her heart was a wonderful friend and co-worker.  Thank you for being the second mom for Skylar being her Para and loving her no matter what. We are going to miss you very much.

although I did not know Kori personally, I do know her family, her mother Peggy, her aunt Patti is one of my dearest friends. Reading other comments I understand Kori was a person who was strong, fun loving, and helpful to others. I am sorry she has passed leaving an empty space in this family. My condolences to all. Kay Cartney
