The Memorial Service for Keith E. Cousins will be 11:00am Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester with the Rev. Nancy Wheeler – Handlon officiating. Interment of ashes will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Keith E. Cousins, 80, of Rochester died November 4, 2013 at Seasons Hospice surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 15, 1933 in Ellsworth, Maine. At the age of 10 his family moved to Mankato where he was raised. Returning to Mankato while on leave from the Service, he met his wife Pat Angle who was attending college. Following their marriage they lived in New London CT for a short time. The couple then moved to Rochester and have lived here since.
Keith was a meat cutter for Piggly Wiggly and later worked in sales for several beverage companies in Rochester, retiring in 1995. Keith’s wife Patricia is a retired secretary for Byron High School.
Keith was a Korean War veteran and served from 1952 to 1956. He was also a member of the Eagles Club in Rochester and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include his wife Pat, a daughter Deborah (Steve) Stevenson of Rochester, a son Doug (Dana) Cousins of Minneapolis, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Mayo Hospice, Seasons Hospice and to Christ United Methodist Church
