Condolences
The family of Kathleen “Kathy” Wolfert has received the following condolences.
Kathy was one of the most beautiful people I have ever known and truly one of a kind. She exuded compassion, kindness and gentleness. To see her bright countenance always brought a smile and joy to my heart. As sad as I am to find out about her passing, I am also so happy to know she is with her Lord Jesus Christ. She will be missed beyond words.
Kathy was a Saint. She loved and cared for others without end. While visiting Mayo Clinic with my sister Judy Littlewolf who was being treated for cancer, Kathy was always hovering around her. She seemed to want to take that battle for herself. My sister lost her battle three years ago and now Kathy has too. There must be a special place in Heaven for Kathy for being the kind and compassionate person she was. She made many trips to our home in Walker, Minnesota and always came in prayer and concern. We loved Kathy and will miss her. We know we will meet again in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May God's love and peace be with her children, family and friends.
Today the world is a bit sadder, a bit meaner, with a bit less love to go around. These are the gifts Kathy brought everywhere she went. She was the big sister that always remembered your worries and never failed to check in when she saw you again. She was always a welcoming smile in the room. I know I will be looking for that smile and it will be hard to remember she has moved on. She was a blessing in this world and I know God will bless her on her journey. I love you, Kathy. Peace be with you.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I only knew Kathy for a very short time. I drove the shuttle bus that took her to work. She was a lovely lady and will be missed.

My Dear, Dear, loving friend how I will miss the many hours of talking and praying we did together when you came up to
Walker M. N. How God had us meet in a jail ministry the first time we met. How we have the same heart for native ministry, how bless we are to be sister in the Lord. When you ask if there was something you can help out with .I said I need baby clothes for a clothing store to give to people who need some help . You had a lady from you church who had a used clothing store and you started to bring and bring and bring and it pleased you so much to bring clothes from Rochester to Walker WHAT A BLESSING . How you LOVE your family soooooooooo much . How we would talk and pray for both of our family's. How we laught and some time cry together and all the story's you would tell about the meetings God would set up with people for you. It was awesome to hear. My Dear friend we will meet again some day in a awesome place I can't wait for you to tell me the stores about heaven. To Cathy's family, we are so sorry for your loss. May God help you though this time.

She had so much left in life to do. Life isn't always fair. I will miss her smile. The way she cared for so many people. She was a "mom" to more than Alex & Meg. She was always worried about everyone in her family. The loss of her has affected so many. More than family. More than friends. She shared her "ministry" with so many people. It was a big part of who she was. I pray she is at peace and that she and those who have gone before her are now reunited and celebrating in heaven. God has gained an awesome angel in Kathy. Thank you Kathy for being who you were. A beautiful person. I cry because I will miss you but know you are in the best hands.
I will miss Kathy's smile, looking for agates at the cabin, her phone calls saying she is in my driveway, playing dominos till 2 am, her little shoes in my entryway, and all her selfless acts of kindness. Too soon - so much to do, so many places to go - and she was always on the go. We have another Angel in heaven. Love you Big Sister today tomorrow and always.
Kathy was devoted mother, grandmother and Christian. She and I raised two wonderful children and we shared many happinesses for many years. I will always think fondly of her and will cherish our memories.
