Justin Robert Lawrence Bunke

Funeral services for Justin Robert Lawrence Bunke will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Ascension Lutheran Church in Rochester with Pastors Brian Kom and Matthew Luetke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery Rochester. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, May 15, 2010 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Ascension Lutheran Church and one hour prior to funeral services. Justin Robert Lawrence Bunke, age 21, died peacefully in his sleep, and was called home to heaven on May 12, 2010. Justin was born on August 10, 1988 in Rochester, MN. He attended Resurrection Lutheran School, and graduated with honors from Century High School in 2007. He is survived by his parents, Jay and JoAnn Bunke; a sister, Amie and her fiancé Erik Benson all of Rochester; paternal grandparents, Robert and Bettie Lou Bunke of Rushford; maternal grandmother, Clarice Westby of Rushford; aunts and uncles, Dennis (Connie) Westby of Rochester, Ruth (Dennis) Peterson of Rushford, Terry (Marilynn) Westby of Winona, Jeffrey (Patty) Bunke of Rushford, Jaclyn (Michael) Woll of Eden Prairie, Jim (Dolly) Bunke of Edina, and many loving cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Lawrence Westby.  Justin’s passion was music, and he spent much of his life immersed in it. He sought out and loved the simple and honest things in life. Justin had a very kind heart and gentle spirit, and enjoyed a deep personal relationship with his Lord and Savior.
