Jose Jesus Sanchez Negrete, Jr-Rochester
Jose, 15, of Rochester, MN died in the early morning hours of July 1st, 2016. He was taken from this earth too soon and in a tragic way. He will be greatly missed by many.
Jose, or known as Jr. to many, was attending Phoenix Academy in Rochester and looked forward to summer school. He was also preparing for his driver’s license. Jr. was a very energetic boy his entire life and loved to be one step ahead of everyone-he pretty much skipped walking and went straight to running at 9 months old! He was an extremely gifted artist and loved to share this gift with everyone. You could find him all around town, at the library, or on the many bike trails “off roading.” Jose was the type of person that loved to laugh and play around, never a dull or serious moment when you were with him. His smile and laugh were contagious. He will be missed by many.
Jose is survived by his mom, Monica Benavidez, step-dad Eddie, sisters Yadhira and Yatalia, brother Cruz, aunt Dana Cobarruvias (Jesus) and their 5 children; Luiz, Daniel, Aracely, Juan, and Amayah, aunt Kendra (Adam) and their 2 sons Colton and Vincent, uncle Devin Kieffer and his grandma Annette Pudwill (Jack). He also survived by the Sanchez Family, Galvan Family, and Negrete Family.
He is preceded in death by his grandpa David Kieffer and biological father Jose Jesus Sanchez Bolanos.
A visitation for Jose will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, Minnesota from 3:00pm-7:00pm. There will be a Time of Remembrance starting at 6:00pm. Burial will be at a later date following cremation.
Memorials are suggested to the family.

"In the midst of hate, I found there was, within me, an invincible love.
In the midst of tears, I found there was, within me, an invincible smile.
In the midst of chaos, I found there was, within me, an invincible calm.
I realized, through it all, that…
In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.
And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back."
So sorry for loss of Junior, such a tragedy!
I am very sorry for your loss. It is my hope that Jr's family may find comfort in God's promises for the future. John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3,4
I am sorry for your lose. Junior was an amazing kid. I am so lucky to have had the pleasure of watching him grow up. From the times of taking Junior and Tim trick-or-treating at the Galleria to hanging out together at the park. Those are memories that I will always cherish. Junior was so lucky to have such a wonderful mom, great family and friends who cared about him so much. Maybe he rest in peace and always be in our hearts.
