John Walter Quirin

John Walter Quirin, 64, of Rochester, MN, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Rochester Health Services West.

John was born July 15, 1955 in Minneapolis, MN to Roland and Betty (Fjeldahl) Quirin. He graduated from Lourdes High School in 1973. Following graduation John served in the United States Air Force. In 2018 he retired from the Marriot Hotel after 34 years of service.

John is survived by his brother, James Quirin of Rochester, MN; sister, Nora Quirin; niece, Katie Esget, and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Roland Quirin Jr.

A private family service was held. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to any Catholic Charities of donor’s choice.

John was a kind, gentle man. Each time we saw him he was so polite and appreciative of time we spent together.  Our condolences to the family and friends who will his special smile.

So sorry to hear about the loss of our cousin ? John. I remember having many great memories of him. We had many lunches together down town.  Rest in peace my friend.

Sorry to hear of cousin John's passing. He's at peace now in the loving hand's of our Father. RIP John I will never forget you. God Bless the rest of your siblings and give them the comfort and strength.

This is sad news to hear that my Cousin John passed away at such a young age. Now that your in Heaven say hi to all the family members up there. My prayers and thoughts are with James and Nora. Rest In Peace Cousin. You’ll be missed John.
