I am so sorry for your loss. Pastor John, PJ, was a great influence in my life.  He helped me through a very tough time in my youth.  He made it fun to be at church and we had such a great group to celebrate and worship together.   I am grateful he was a part of my life and will always have a special place in my memories for him.

Hello family of Pastor John.  I met him when he was doing his internship at Salem Lutheran Church in north Minneapolis.  He was ordained there and I performed liturgical dance during the service.  I watched Steve grow up and was honored to be Kristin's godmother after she was born in Hudson South Dakota.  I followed him to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in southern Minneapolis and we worked with the youth program there.  We have a lot of history ~ so many great memories flooding back now.  May you rest in God's loving arms until we all meet again.

My heart is heavy at hearing of Pastor John's passing.  I will always remember his big smile and his chuckle.  He was an amazing confirmation teacher and pastor. I know he made a positive influence in my life.  He left his footprints.  Hugs to all.

Thinking of you all in this difficult time, much love to Chris, Chuck, Jermey and the rest of the family - God Bless.

We are thinking of you all and you are in our thoughts and prayers during this time.  I just looked at Kristen + Fred's wedding picture and remember so well how happy he was marrying you both and was so nice spending time with him that weekend.  We wish we could be with you during this time.

So sorry for your loss,  our love to you,

Steve, Kris, and family -

I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing . . . "P.J." was a hugely influential person in my life and I have so many good memories of those times in Hi-league with him at Bethlehem.  He was also a good friend of my parents . . . I imagine he and my dad will get to "catch up" soon.  Wish I could be at your dad's Memorial Service this Wednesday but I'll be out of state for work.  Sending you condolences from our family and trusting that all the good memories will bring comfort in the coming days.  God's peace be with you and your families.

Dear Kris, Steve and families:

I am sorry to hear of your loss. He was a great man. Without him I would not be a Christian today. He brought me back to church. We had some great times going to Hudson, SD to visit. I followed him around to the churches he served in the Twin Cities. Keep the faith to see him again

Chris and family - I am so sorry for your loss.  While I had never met John, I feel like I knew what a great guy he was just from what you said.  There is never enough time but John knew you all loved him.  Gold's blessings!
