Jennifer A. Pralle
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Ann Pralle, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend, who went to Heaven on March 8, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on January 4, 1968, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Jennifer lived a life filled with faith, love, and unwavering strength.
Jen was a proud graduate of Sheboygan Lutheran High School before pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at Concordia University in Nebraska. Her thirst for knowledge and dedication to education led her to earn her Master’s degree in 2019. It was at Concordia University, she met her husband, Joel Pralle; their bond flourished into a 33-year marriage characterized by love and laughter.
In 1995, the couple moved to Rochester, Minnesota, where Jen made a lasting impact as an English and reading teacher at Rochester Central Lutheran School, Friedell Middle School, and Dakota Middle School. Her commitment to her students was evident in her teaching, and she continued to inspire young minds until January 20, 2026.
Jen faced the challenges of breast cancer with remarkable courage for six years. Throughout her journey, she remained a steadfast believer in Jesus, viewing her life’s challenges through the lens of faith, hope, and strength. Jen was a woman on a mission for God, and she now finds peace and victory in the embrace of Jesus, “living the dream” that she so fervently cherished.
She was also known for her vibrant spirit and deep love for her family and friends. Jen had many passions, from fishing and gardening to spending cherished moments at the family cottage on Enterprise Lake. She enjoyed playing card games, shopping, and travelling to be with her family, but her greatest joy came from the laughter and love shared with her children and grandchildren, Eliza and Parker.
Jen is preceded in death by her father, Donald Fenske, and her beloved grandparents.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Joel; children, Jacob (Morgan) Pralle and Madyson (Adam) Pinn; granddaughters, Eliza and Parker; her mother, Sandra Fenske; her in-laws, Leroy and Paula Pralle; her sisters, Stefanie Willard, Susan (David) Ferguson, and Kathryn (Joel) Pape; her brothers-in-law, Eric (Elizabeth) Pralle and Sean (Quinelle) Pralle; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2026, at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2026, the church, and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
The family encourages everyone to wear Jen’s favorite color, purple, to honor her.

Condolences
The family of Jennifer A. Pralle has received the following condolences.
While it is a time of rejoicing, we are very sorry for your loss. She’s home now with our good Lord. Peace be upon her and her family.
My heart is broken. I laughed and laughed when I taught with Jen at Friedell. We shared class of readers for a few years, and we had SOO MUCH FUN together. We talked and shared stories every morning, she and I shared concern for students who were struggling, she’d say,”Jan, that kiddo is dyin’ on the vine’ which was her way of saying we needed to help!
We have kids the same age- she was sooo proud of Mady and Jake!!!
oh Jen, you will be soo missed and your unwavering commitment to education and your faith will never be forgotten!!
Janice
Dearest Pralle family,
I simply adored your mom. From talking to her at the kid's basketball games to working with her at Friedell. She always had a smile, willingness to help, and a kind word to say. She was a beautiful soul. Where there is grieving there is great love. I'm sure more than anyone can imagine. Bless you all. Stacey Tiefenthaler Catani
Dearest Pralle family,
I adored your mom. From talking to her at your basketball games to seeing her at Friedell. She always had a smile, willingness to help, and a kind word. May we all leave this world leaving that kind of mark on this world as it needs more people like her. Let the tears flow, and say yes to the help that people offer. During this time of grieving, please remember that it is a gift because where there is grieving there is great love. I'm sure more than anyone can imagine. Bless you all. Stacey
