Jeffrey “Jeff” Devlin

Our beloved Jeffrey, 38 of Rochester, died of an unexpected medical emergency on July 20, 2020. Born and raised in Rochester, he graduated from Lourdes High School in 2000, and later received a B.A. degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls.

A golf-buff from the beginning when he trained with Arnold Palmer, he played on the Lourdes Golf Team and never lost his love for the game. His genius was business, where he built a successful online retail operation. He was constantly thinking of and discussing changes to his business plan. Listening to him was like hearing poetry.

Left to mourn his bigger-than-life presence are his wife Kelly Varner Devlin, his mother Mary Lou Devlin, his father Richard Devlin (Cheryl Coryea Devlin) his brother John (Kim) Devlin, his step-brother Jim Coryea, four amazing nephews Joey, Ben, Matt, and Jon Devlin, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

We have lost sight of you, Jeffrey, but you are forever with us in our hearts.

A private memorial gathering will be held for Jeffrey at a later date. His ashes will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Rochester.

Memorials may be directed to the Mayo Foundation or St. Jude’s Hospital.
