Condolences
The family of Jeanette C. “Jeane” Boehm has received the following condolences.
To Jeane's Family.
Being a cousin of your mom I have fond memories of her from our days in La Crosse. My mom took me to her for permanents at the beauty school where she was training. I went to her for help for a sewing class project to put a dress together. She gave ne the book "Heidi" for Christmas 1943. I have it on the bookshelf wt home today, thanks to my mom keeping it and sending it to me in later years. I love that story and cherish the book. Through the years we exchanged Christmas cards and your mom kept me updated on her family.
My heart goes out to you and your families. I extend sympathy. thoughts and prayers to you from my husband Roy and myself, my sister Karen and her husband Jerry.
We are the daughers of Helen Weiland Swertfeger.
Lovingly, Coleen
To the Boehm family, Mike and Lauri , I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Your parents were two of the most

Dearest Jeff, Susie and Mike, your spouses and children.
Richard and I send our love to you at this time. We know your heart is hurting , losing first your Dad not that long ago and now your Mom.
Wasn't it great they were on this earth for so many fulfilling years ? Now they are together again. That gives us tears of happiness doesn't it. They were so much is love.
My sister Jeane was also my 2nd Mother. I remember when Ken and I were growing up, they always seemed to be living with us. Or they were taking care of Ken and Me when Mom and Dad traveled.
Then when I got married , somehow they always lived they lived next door. Jeez !
When we lived on the farm, My Dad and your Dad pulled some very scary Halloween tricks on me, Ken and Jerry, they were delightfully Evil enough for me to retain that memory !
My sister and I were very close. When we did not have email, we wrote letters . long letters . She would never call me, always waiting for me to call her. I loved teasing her and hearing her sweet giggle !
She came across as being so mild mannered and subdued. On the other hand she was very strong minded with the same German temperament we all have.
I will miss my sister immensely as I know you will miss your Mother ! Knowing our family, I think they will all be up there to greet us when we arrive !.
I love all of you dearly ! God Bless. So sorry I couldn't be there personally but I am there with you always, Aunt Carole
.
Jeff, Suzette and Mike,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you with the loss of your mom. Losing a loved one is never easy. I have fond memories of Aunt Jeane. She came out to CA along with Uncle Don to see my dad a few weeks before he passed away. My Dad was so happy and so tickled that his older sister was coming out to see him. Aunt Jeane and I kept in touch writing letters back and forth for years. She always spoke of you guys and how proud she was of each of you.
May the good Lord watch over all of you and your families during this time of sorrow and may your memories of your mom ease the pain you are feeling.
God Bless.
Zada
My deepest sympathy to you Jeff, Susie, and Mike for your mother passing. It is never easy going through this and I hope you gather strength and love from each other to help you through these days. Aunt Jeane and I used to write each other a lot after my dad died and in those letters she told me her thoughts and memories of him. I have cherished those letters over the years, and will keep them as my memory of her.
God bless you and your families,
Your cousin,
Sarah
The entire staff at The Homestead at Rochester extends our deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom. Although she lived here only a very short time, she was such a pleasant woman who obviously loved her family dearly. May warm memories of her fill your hearts at this most sorrowful time.
My thoughts are with you during this sad time.
My condolences are shared by the rest of the Bernard Weiland family. I apologize for not being there.
I thought the world of your mother. Jeanette. She always seemed so kind and gentel, and a role model for me. I named one of my daughters after her.
To the family of Jeane Boehm,
Your Mom was a great lady who loved her family so very, very much.
