Jean Mae Senrick

The funeral service for Jean Mae Senrick will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October, 13, 2010 at Macken Funeral Home with the Rev.  Nancy Wheeler Handlon officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4:00PM – 7:00PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Macken Funeral Home with a half hour visitation prior to the service on Wednesday.  Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Jean Senrick,  87, of Rochester, died Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Maple Manor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Jean was born on September 1, 1923 in Rochester to Leslie and Elvira Sackett.  She was a registered nurse for 32 years in obstetrics at Olmsted Community Hospital and Rochester Methodist Hospital. She married William Richard Senrick on May 14, 1944 in Rochester.  Mr. Senrick passed away on September 22, 1974.

She is survived by three daughters;   Dianna (Charlie) Johnson of Eyota, Sharon (Steve) Nigon of Rochester and Kathy Miller of Minneapolis, three sons; William (Penny) of Salt Lake City, Bob (Helen) of Colorado Springs and Steve (Nancy) of Rochester;

one sister, Lelia Britton of Marina Del Ray, CA; 14 grand-children and 20 great grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother and her husband.

Memorials are preferred to Seasons Hospice and Paws and Claws.
