Jean E. Whynaucht

The funeral service for Jean E. Whynaucht will be at 11:00AM, Monday, March 21, 2016 in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Lester Horntvedt officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.

Mrs. Whynaucht, 88, passed away at Cottagewood of Rochester on Friday, March 18, 2016.

She was born July 9, 1927 at Spring Valley, Minnesota to Robert and Lavina Markham. She graduated from Spring Valley High School. Jean was employed at St. Marys Hospital until her marriage to Everett Whynaucht on March 11, 1945 in Rochester. She then worked at Rochester Chick Hatchery for 20 years and also K-Mart.

She is survived by her sons,Terry (Debby) Whynaucht of West Lake Village, CA and David (Kathie) Whynaucht of Byron; sister Katherine Russell of Stewartville; 2 grandchildren, Brian (Kim) Whynaucht of Newbury Park , CA and Shannon (Bill) Loe of Bakersfield, CA; step-grandchildren Eric (Patty) Jarmuz of Byron, Paula (Greg) Sherman of Rochester; and 11 great grandchildren.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband Everett, parents, and sisters June Stelter and Lurene Horstmann.
