Condolences

The family of Janet “Jan” L. Helgren has received the following condolences.

So sorry to hear of Jan’s passing. We have gotten to know her from the Church of the Resurrection. Always smiling & always friendly. She will be missed by many. Our heartfelt condolences to her family.

Sue,

I had planned on coming to the visitation last evening but with the weather being what it was I decided to stay put.  I just want you to know you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers.

Cindy Lien

i worked with Jan at Community Food Response. We were liaisons for our churches. She always had a welcoming smile for me when I walked in and we shared many laughs together. I will miss her dearly.

Dear Helgren Family,  I first met Jan when I joined the music ministry at Resurrection almost 20 years ago.  She was very welcoming and we sang together many times.  She will be missed.  PS, my husband loved her rhubarb pie that she would make for the church bazaar.

Rest in peace, Jan.

Condolences to all the Helgrens, Jenkins, Hophans, Steffens, and Cesas from the Lemings in St. Louis.  We didn't know her, but knew of her and are sorry for your loss.

To Jan’s Family:

So sorry to hear of Jan passing on to her heavenly home, but the Lord has taken away her suffering, she will truly be missed.  I will always remember her for making us feel so welcome to Resurrection Church, always a smile.

Mary Jane Theobald

Norm and family,  I am so very sorry for your loss.

To Norm and Jan’s family,

I knew Jan from working at the Church. She was a woman of great faith. She was my “go to” person if I needed anything done.

I will forever remember her beautiful smile that always brightened my day, and every time I eat raspberries I will think of her (I helped pick raspberries).

When I heard of her passing I thought of the words from scripture “well done, good and  faithful servant”. Well done Jan, you completed the race and the prize of heaven awaits you...go in peace.

You will all be in my prayers.

My deepest sympathy to all your family as you walk this journey of grief and loss.  May your memories of Janet be rich and fill you with comfort and peace.

I worked with Jan at Samaritan Home Care.   She was a great nurse very caring and a wonderful person.  My sympathy to all her family.

Dear Norm and family:  I will miss seeing Jan's beautiful face at Mass and at other church events.  She was always kind to me and my family.  I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

My mother died of cancer at approximately the same age as Jan last year, also of cancer.  Cancer is so mean, taking the people we love before we are ready to see them go.

God bless--

Denise and Jeff Koster, Jason, Jacob, and Janet

To the Helgren Family,

On behalf of all Jan's friends and "family" at Elder Network, we will greatly miss Jan, her positive attitude and her compassion for the people around her.  She was a true gift to all of those who knew her.  Thank you for sharing her with us and with the community.  May beautiful memories fill your hearts during these sad times.

Peace,

Laurie and everyone at Elder Network
