Jane M. Watson
The funeral service for Jane Watson will be at 11:00 am on Monday, December 9, 2013 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kasson with Pastor Marie AK Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kasson and one hour prior to the service on Monday. There will be a burial of ashes at a later date in the Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville, MN.
Jane Marie Watson, 62 of Mantorville passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2013 surrounded by family and friends.
Jane was born on November 8, 1951 in Osage, IA to Antonia and John Brandt. She graduated from Osage High School in 1969 and went on to St. Marys Nursing School in Rochester where she obtained her L.P.N., then began working at St. Marys Hospital.
She married in 1972, had two children, Bobbie and Dale Jr. and later divorced. On August 22, 1987, she married Charlie Watson, Jr.
Jane went on to graduate from Winona State University with a Bachelor’s of Social Work Degree. While employed as a dispatcher for SEMCAC Jane opened the Used-A-Bit Shop in Dodge Center and dedicated herself to serving others.
She is survived by her husband Charlie, her children Bobbie (Cory) Boehm of Racine, MN and Dale Jr.(Michele) Rud of Kasson, MN; her mother, Antonia Brandt of Osage, IA; grandchildren, Corbin, Dawson and Gabriel; step-children, Jennifer, Amber, Joshua and Alec; Siblings, Phyllis (Danny) Sobek of Klemme Iowa, Dorothy (Jim) Weldon of Denver, CO and Alan Brandt of Osage, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her faithful dog Snickers and her cat Dum-Dum. She was preceded in death by her father, John Brandt and a niece, Karen Monson.

Charlie, Bobbie and JR, Please accept my sincere sympathy. I am so thankful I was able to talk to Jane a couple of weeks ago. I will treasure that conversation forever. I can see her dancing in heaven, no longer confined to a wheelchair or consumed with cancer...her beautiful soul is in heaven and she is joyful.
