Condolences
The family of Jamie R. Unverzagt has received the following condolences.
Jamie had a good heart. Many people might not have seen past the stubborn, tough-guy attitude he sometimes had, but I was fortunate to see another side of him. He truly cared about people and animals, especially his dogs. I lost touch with him a couple of years ago, so was very shocked to hear of his death. My condolences to family and friends. I pray that he has found peace.
i was proud to have Jamie as a cousin, jamie was fun loving, easy going, and loved everybody. Jamie will be missed.i am proud to call his family, mine.
Jamie, you left us far too soon. Your life has truly affected a lot of us and you will be missed. It is very hard to sum things up in just a few words. Rest in Peace.
My thoughts and prayers are with that family during these difficult times.
Jamie painted the interior of the blue house next to Gage elementary school. This was a flip we did and having worked with several different painters over the course of several years, Jamie was by far the most skilled and in my opinion an artist. His work was meticulous. Such a cool guy, really enjoyed just chilling at the house and hearing his story. He taught me several things during that project that I have since shared with others. So sad to hear about this. We will be praying for his family and friends, and know that he had an impact on me.
Jamie was the sweetest man I have ever known and he will be deeply missed. He was fun loving and so easy going. He would always brighten the day with his huge smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Jamie I will never forget you and I will love you always! R.I.P.
Dear Betty and family......our hearts break for you during this difficult time. May you find comfort in your memories of Jamie.

Betty and family,
My sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time. I just happened upon Jamie's obituary today and to say the least I am shocked. I have many fond memories of Jamie growing up when we used to hang out at various family get togethers at your house in High Forest, at Neil and Cathy's, or at the Throndson's. Those were the "good old days!" After moving to Rochester almost 30 years ago, I occasionally would run into Jamie and I always went up to him to say hi and ask if he remembered me! He always greeted me with a smile and a hi, no matter how many years had passed in between. May he rest in peace. Suzy (Kappes) Dahl
I just can't believe Jamie is not with us anymore. We had so many great times together. He was a great friend and will be deeply missed. Love you Jamie R.I.P.
Words could never express the sorrow you feel when you lose such a great person, but the joy you have in all the great memories is something you'll have forever. You will always be in my thoughts. Once a cardinal always a cardinal. ;) Love you always Jamie!! -Christie Sutton

May God hold you in his arms Jamie and keep you safe. Rest in peace.
Betty, Julie & Mike - my heart goes out to you during this time. Even though Jamie was a kid the last time I saw him, by reading what people have wrote about him I know he grew up into a wonderful man. You will be in my heart and prayers this week as you go through the painful time. I pray that the many great memories of Jamie will sustain you.
Jamie you were a one of a kind guy!!! You had a smile we will always remember... and as we are all left with memories we need to hold tight to them memories and share them with each other in this time. You will forever live on in my heart and head. Love you dear sweet friend<3
Jamie was the best, I first met him when i moved to the Eyota mobile home park in 1989. I lived there for a couple of years and then I moved to Rochester and we lost touch for a couple of years. It was meant to be that I would move next to Missy Anderson and meet up with Jamie once more. I remember one summer that I was unemployed and he offered me a job helping him stain trim and molding in the new homes he was subcontracting for, he was a real life saver for me that summer and I will always love him and be grateful to him for his kind heart. His smile was contagious!!!!! makes me smile right now thinking about it. I will miss you dearly.
I was fortunate to have met you 26 years ago and will forever hold you in my heart. You will be greatly missed by many. RIP Jamie, Love you forever <3
