Condolences

The family of J Grafton “Tony” Love Jr. has received the following condolences.

I am so glad I got to know Tony. He taught me some things in his last weeks. I  learned about being a man, a Christian, and the priorities of life. I will remember him for his bravery and decency.

We'd like to share our condolences.  Tony and Bill became friends back when they were Boy Scouts in the early 50s, and they remained life-long friends. Tony was a pall bearer for Bill's father, and plowed the road to the cemetery when we buried Bill's mother.  He brought me an electric cart when I had two knee replacements at Mayos. Our family, including our two sons, enjoyed Tonys visits to Knoxville.  He will be missed by all of us.

Tony never forgot his relatives in North Carolina.  He loved his "Uncle Buddy" and Aunt Katye.  After they passed, he visited often, and we had some really good times.  Later on, he brought Gayle with him.  We had fun going to the Outer Banks and also visiting the Love family in Mathews,VA.  He was a unique person, and we will miss him.  Our prayers and love are with the family.

Becky,

I remember Tony from so long ago. I am sorry for your loss.

David and Becky, I am so very sad on hearing of Tony's death. He was a wonderful friend through junior high and high school. He was the spearhead of so many of our RHS reunions and I will miss him.

With its love and sympathy, Marcia Kierland Henry

To Tony Love's family,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Tony was a wonderful person and landlord. We had our upholstery shop in his quanset hut across the tracks from the ols Roxy Bar.  I also rented a car a few times from Avis when he owned that business.  Tony always treated me far.

Now God has another angel !!

Dear Becky and family,

   We are saddened by your brother's death but grateful that the hospital where your father served (Mayo Clinic) was able to give your brother 20 additional years.  We pray for you as you walk the journey of grief.  Love, Jeanne and Dave

To Gayle and Tony's family;

I am so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. Tony has been a true friend to our family and will be deeply missed!  Tony has been more than a best friend to my dad, he has been a life line for our entire family.  Tony (and Gayle) have done so much for my mom and dad; I cannot begin to express my gratitude to them.  Many great memories in Turtle Lake, Friday "fish fry's", road trips with friends and their convertibles, and of course his favorite, flying.  I was lucky enough to see Tony in Turtle Lake in July and as always, he still had his sense of humor and positive attitude.

Gayle, I am so sorry for your loss.  Thank you for all you and Tony have done for us! You have meant so much to our family and we cannot begin to thank you enough for everything you have done.  Please, let us know if there is anything we can do for you!

Tony's family, I am very sorry for your loss.  I am sorry I never got the opportunity to meet you - but please know that Tony meant so much to our family and has done more than you can ever imagine!  Tony was an awesome friend and a great guy!

Tony, thank you for all you have done for our family - you will be truly missed!! You are a very special person and we were so lucky to have had you in our lives! I know you will continue to bring great joy and happiness to everyone around you!!

Love and condolences;

Gayle,

I am so sorry for your loss.  I do know how difficult it is to lose the one you care about most.  My husband knew Tony years ago.  Keep the good memories alive.

Enjoyed getting to know our first cousin Tony in recent years.  Always enjoyed talking, laughing, debating, teasing, and most of all, just being together.  His visits to Mathews Co., VA. were enjoyed by all of us "Love" cousins!  He was a wonderful host and made us feel "at home" when we visited him and Gayle in Pine Island.  Tony, we knew you for too short a time, but we are oh so glad we had our time together!  Sympathy and Love to Gayle, as well as Tony's children.  Neena Love Putt4

Dear Gayle,

Pepsi and I send our sympathy and prayers.
