Hans L. Jorgensen was born May 13, 1935 in Auderod of Denmark to Laurits and Else Marie Jorgensen. He grew up in Lille Kregme where he attended school and later graduated from gardening school. He started his own trucking and excavating business in Denmark.
He married Tove Pedersen and had three children. They later divorced. In 1976, he immigrated to the United States with his family where he started his own business restoring antique cars, and years later started a new business. He imported auto motive equipment, specializing in paint spray guns. The business, SATA (Dan-Am) Spray Equipment Company was very successful. In 2004, he married Raya Andrey. He retired in 2017 and his two sons took over the business.
Hans was a very smart business man who many people admired and respected. He was a hardworking man which could build and fix everything. He always worked very hard so his children would have everything they needed. He loved to garden, his Nimbus motorcycle, his pride and joy Mercedes Benz and travel with his wife, Raya. He also loved talking to people and helping them whenever he could. He had a great sense of humor.
He will be missed and in our hearts forever.

Kære Tove , Lis & piger , I er i vores tanker og bonner i disse svære dage ! We also send condolences to all family members . We have more than 50 years of memories of Hans, some from Denmark , where he worked with my father & brother - always with a good sense of humor . We respect his bravery in bringing Tove & the children from Denmark, to settle in Minnesota . We have memories of him bringing the five of you , travelling in a camper , to visit us in our first home in Lancaster County - and later visiting at our second home . We enjoyed bringing my Danish parents to visit your home in Minnesota , and have continued to stay in touch over the years . Hans loved to entertain - raising & cooking a whole pork roast - and generously shared his Danish food favorites : kringle ,rugbrod , smor , spegepolse & remoulade :-) . Wishing you Peace & Love , Ned & Kirsten Bishop
