Glennis L. Beach

Glennis L. Beach, age 76, died December 13, 2009, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, surrounded by her family.  The funeral service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Thursday, December 17 at 1:00PM with the Rev. James Heining officiating.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Beach was born in Lewiston, MN, on Febuary 14, 1933.  She was the daughter of Harry and Lydia Treder.  Glennis graduated from Lewiston High School, and trained as a licensed practical nurse at Winona General Hospital.  She has worked at Winona General as well as LaCrosse Lutheran, Red Wing City Hospital, Olmsted Community Hospital and retired in 1994 from St. Marys Hospital.

Glennis married Eugene Jack Beach on August 23, 1958, and has resided in Rochester.  Survivors include her husband and four sons, David of Rochester, Robert (Linda) of Dodge Center, Richard of Rochester and Daniel of Burnsville; two brothers Mel (Kitty) Treder of St. Germaine, WI and Argene (Marilyn) Treder of Rochester; six sisters Elaine Bergmann of Cedarberg, WI, Deloris (Carl) Brackett of Lewiston, Ardene (Lowell) Narveson of Rochester, Ione Kessler of Lewiston, Clarine (Lyman) Lewis of Lewiston, and Ila (Phil) Rothwell of Rochester.

Her parents and two brothers, Carely and Clarence preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 4 – 7PM at Macken Funeral Home on Wednesday December 16, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.  Memorials are preferred to Redeemer Lutheran Church or to the donor’s choice.
