For many years, Jerry was Assistant Ranger at the Gamehaven Scout Reservation. The barn at Gamehaven Scout Reservation was named “Jerry’s Barn” out of appreciation for his years of dedication to the Boy Scouts. Jerry was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Zumbro Aerie 2228 for 49 years.

The family of Gerald E. “Jerry” Jenkins has received the following condolences.

Jerry will truly be missed. We loved having him as our neighbor.

Your Dad always had a great smile and attitude through everything. Blessed to have seen him last year. Love you all! God has him now.

To Lisa and the entire Jenkins family, I am sending you Prayers of healing, and I am so for your loss.

But know that he’s in the good place now.

We are so sorry to hear that Gerry is gone. He was a kind and considerate cousin to my sister Vicki and I, as we visited Rochester in our early years and also later when our mother lived in town. Gerry helped us in many ways & always with a good heart.

Sorry for your loss. I remember the boy scout days at golden hill and Camp Kahler while Jerry was involved in good old troop 88
