no matter how much I try the tears just don't stop. I miss you so much grandpa. Love you more then you'll ever know..??????
George will be greatly missed by our family and our friends. George was my great-uncle. My mother and I lived right behind George, Ruth and Todd. A few memories I have of George are; Anytime my mom or I needed anything like help in the yard, George was always there willing to help in any way he could. He was always gracious when the sweet corn was being harvested, he made sure to give us plenty to eat. (I love that memory). George looked out for my mother and I and I am grateful that I knew him and that he was a part of our lives. Another memory I have is the look on George's face when he held his grandchildren. His grandchild really did steal his heart, melted it like butter.
I wish I could be there to share in the memories of George Winslow's life but I will be there in spirit. May the love and strenght of our family comfort you all in this difficult time. With love and sympathy, Dawn Woods
