Gary and Mary were members of Douglas Methodist Church and attended Autumn Ridge, where he faithfully volunteered at the Saturday night dinners as well as special events.

I will miss you Bro. We called twice a week and never hung up without saying "I love you". I love the memories we shared and I am anxious for the day that we sit down together at God's great banquet table during the marriage supper of the Lamb. I can imagine you now resting at the feet of Jesus telling Him a few of your jokes and telling Him "I guess you DID know what to do with me". Love you, Your Sis
Dear Mary and family:
We were very sad to hear of Gary's passing. Uncle Gary was my favorite uncle as he always made an effort over the years to build good relationships with his family. Not many do that anymore. I was so happy that I was able to visit and spend time with him last August in Minnesota, and blessed I was able to call him and pray with him a few days before his passing. We'll all miss him, but we'll keep you all in our prayers during this sad time. I hope someday that I'll see him again in heaven. God's Blessings and Peace,
Love,
Bryan & Ofelia Neva

You are at peace now Gary and you fought a good fight. I loved reading all the loving comments from your family.
Your family will miss you greatly and Mary I will keep you and all your beautiful daughters and grandchildren in my prayers.
I love you all. Joyce
I totally love my Uncle Gary. He had a way of making every one of his nephews and nieces feel so special. I will miss him picking on me with that sick little chuckle of his. Every moment spent with him was a memory never to be forgotten. I will miss him and fondly cherish him always.
Uncle Gary loved well. He made me feel like I was his favorite nephew, and I know he made each of his nieces and nephews feel the same.
Just last week and he came to visit me. He knew the trip would be hard on him, but he made it anyhow. I was greatly honored, and I cherish the time I had with him recounting old memories.
We talked about the time we went four-wheeling on the Range. He drove up a steep embankment to an old railroad track bed, but being top-heavy as he was, he flew off the back of the ATV and landed smack on his back. He was laughing out loud before I could even react.
There's always a lot of laughter when I was with Uncle Gary.
If you're reading this, I love you, Super Unc, and I'll see you soon. But hopefully not too soon. :)
Mary, I was saddened when I saw the news in my e-mail yesterday. I'm sure Gary is with Jesus and pain free now. He can breathe, run and worship his savior. May God's peace and love surround you and your family at this time. He will be greatly missed. Take care of yourself and I will see you soon. I love you my sister in Christ.
Mary, Stacey, Lori, and Cori I will be thinking of all of you. Thank you for being my second family and friends as well as neighbors. Gary will truly be missed and remembered. We will pray for your family and the healing that will come from your loss.
